Thursday, March 9, 2023 6pm – 7pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023 6pm-7pm
Abernethy is hosting two Connect to Kindergarten events, and we are hoping to see all incoming Kindergarten students and their families there!
Come to one, the other, or even both events! You will be able to meet the Kindergarten teachers, see the classrooms, tour the school, and hear all the exciting activities your students will enjoy next year!
There will be information regarding how to register, before and after school care, school breakfast and lunch, and what a typical school day holds.
We will start at 6:00pm by meeting in the auditorium, have a tour of the school, and then end with some time in the Kindergarten classrooms.
Connect to Kindergarten is a great opportunity for you to learn about Abernethy and its kindergarten program. At the event you will tour the kindergarten rooms, meet the kindergarten and administrative staff, and register your child for school.
With parent volunteers on hand, it is a great chance to ask questions about daily routines, parent involvement, school events, and before/after school care. It is also the perfect time to meet other parents of incoming Abernethy kindergarten students.
The more you learn, the more confident you and your child will feel on the first day of school! More general kindergarten information may be found on the official PPS website.
